Dallas College, Bill J. Priest (BJP) Institute for Economic Development mission is to help small businesses grow revenue, increase jobs and contribute to the economic growth of Dallas County. Led by its Small Business Innovation Cultivator, the institute brings together resources and assets that make it a “one-stop shop” for small business services.

Develop Your Talent With Training. It is easy and affordable to train or receive a certification at the Bill J. Priest (BJP) Institute for Economic Development. Plug into current training programs, or create your

own new, customized program. We can set up the classes at our place or in a larger capacity, visit to your facility to train.

In addition, the BJP Innovation Lab offers Welding Sculpture class available every semester for individuals who want to explore the concepts of welding and sculpture. Lab Membership are also available on a monthly or annual bases to individuals who have experience welding and fabrication interested in using our facility to explore
